The ethos of this residency programme is to provide opportunities for artists to spend time in a beautiful place, to share ideas and practice and enrich the creative community of this rural area by giving a slide talk about your work.

Painting and print studio

 

Hafod studio:

Size: 24 sqm floor area (4.2m x 5.7m) with a pitched roof height of 3.6m.

Lighting: large skylights provide excellent natural light, and electric lighting.

Heating: wood burning stove and electric heater.

Facilities: sink, trestle tables and chairs, easel and boards, intaglio printing press (plate size 35 x 60cm).

Accommodation: small kitchen area with gas hob, fridge; small bathroom with washing machine; sleeping platform with mattress, duvet, pillows. Please note the sleeping platfrom is only accessible by ladder.

Wi-fi and mobile signal.

Electricity is charged at 30p per unit.

Firewood is extra, charged by the basket.

Important: individuals are responsible for insurance cover
